Manchester Ice Rink at First Street

First Street is the perfect place to soak up the Christmas atmosphere in Manchester

Manchester Ice Rink is back on 15th November 2017 right up to December 23rd and better than ever in our new home in First Street,  near Deansgate Locks, Manchester Central Convention Centre, the legendary Hacienda, between Deansgate and Oxford Road stations… Welcome to First Street – The perfect festive activity where friends, family and loved ones can skate under the stars while enjoying a wide variety of food and attractions in one exciting location.

Manchester Ice Rink welcomes all ages and ability of skaters, whether you’re a pro or a first timer, you will be sure to enjoy the experience in this stunning location. The 300sqm of real ice can hold up to 100 skaters. Sessions last for 45 minutes and we advise that skaters arrive 15 to 20 minutes before their session to get their skates on.

You don’t need to be worried if you haven’t skated before as there is a handrail right around all sides of the rink for your safety. The Manchester Ice Rink experienced team of Ice Marshals will only be too pleased to offer assistance and advice on how to enjoy your skating.

There is no separate kiddies rink due to space restrictions but the family focused sessions are the first three sessions of the day when all the skating penguins are on the ice and the staff will also provide hands on assistance.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite to eat between meetings, enjoying a leisurely lunch with friends or treating yourself to a midweek cocktail or craft beer, First Street’s restaurants and bars offer some of Manchester’s best places to eat and drink and all have Special Offers for ice rink customers.
